Yuvya is developing a large global premium multi-cuisine restaurant chain for Indian food customers where they will consistently get good, tasty, authentic and healthy Indian food with consistent quality. To deliver our promise, we will use automation through hardware and software. The tech backbone will ensure scalability of the model and reliability.

Yuvya is looking to onboard as a full time employee an experienced, passionate, customer obsessed, enthusiastic culinary expert. Reporting to the founders, this person will be responsible for the final product (food) presented to the customer. The role gives an opportunity to directly influence the customers at a large scale. This person will be a part of team creating, tasting dishes across locations to benchmark look, texture, smell, portion size and taste.
To start with this will be an individual contributor role. As Yuvya grows in to multiple cities across the globe, this role will be expanding to lead our culinary experts’ team.
As an early stage employee, we will offer Employee Stock Options so that you grow along with the company.

What we are looking for?
• Experience of at least 5+ years in Multiple Cuisines or Most among South Indian/North Indian/Other Indian Cuisines/Crossover Continental and Crossover Chinese. Or willing/confident to learn and execute/ have exposure to the breadth. Or can Liaise/act as POC for some gaps.
• Cuisine experience should have as much breadth and knowledge of different types of Indian cuisines and ability to learn quickly
• Passionate about Cross India cultures and its reflection in food. Idea about how food changes with region. Customer understanding by region and category. Customer and Product quality focus. Does not take any short cuts.
• Soft Skills
o Can-do attitude and ability to bring positivity in a start-up and experimenting culture
o Ability to deal with ambiguity
o Able to deliver results in spite of obstacles
o Has a long term approach rather than a quick fix approach to things
• Exposure to machines, gadgets and automation is a plus. If not aptitude to learn and understand new processes. Pre conceived notions about existing processes and inability to think new and adapt is negative.
• Food science hacks is a plus
