Claridge’s Restaurant Celebrates First Anniversary with New Menu Launch

Since opening its doors, the restaurant has become synonymous with refined British dining, offering a harmonious blend of traditional flavors and modern culinary flair.

Seasonal Delights and Signature Classics

Launching on September 23rd, the new menu showcases the finest seasonal British ingredients sourced from local suppliers. The restaurant’s new offerings elevate seafood dishes while paying homage to beloved classics like the signature Black Truffle Crumpets and Parker House Loaf, paired perfectly with Claridge’s crest butter.

From the open marble kitchen, guests can enjoy a variety of new starters, including a Potted Shrimp Scone with horseradish and dill, or the Cornish Crab with crème fraîche and pickled apple. For those looking to indulge, the Seafood Tower is a must, featuring crab, scallops, langoustine, and clams, with optional lobster or Beluga caviar for an added touch of luxury.

Main Courses and Comfort Foods for the Colder Months

The new main courses offer comfort as we approach the colder months. Highlights include the Claridge’s Fish Pie, a hearty dish featuring Scottish langoustine, cod, salmon, smoked haddock, and seasonal greens, perfect for sharing. Another standout is the Dover Sole, served either grilled or Meunière. For meat lovers, the Tomahawk of Herefordshire Beef served with French fries, girolles, and Béarnaise sauce is an ideal choice.

Decadent Desserts and Artisanal Cheeses

Claridge’s pastry team has outdone itself with decadent desserts like the Vanilla Mille-Feuille, Chocolate Soufflé Tart, and Profiteroles draped in hot chocolate sauce. The restaurant also offers a unique all-British cheeseboard, sourced from regions like Nottinghamshire and St. Andrew’s, accompanied by seasonal chutney and plum crackers.

Designed by Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, Claridge’s Restaurant merges its art deco heritage with modern aesthetics. Featuring Calcutta Viola marble, antique brass details, and mosaic flooring, the restaurant boasts art deco starburst skylights and original artwork from Claridge’s private collection.
