Job Description
Responsibilities:
*Design and develop unique Pan Asian menus that appeal to a diverse clientele.
*Prepare and cook dishes using authentic Pan Asian ingredients and flavours.
*Oversee kitchen staff and coordinate food production schedules with executive chef
*Monitor and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
*Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
*Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal promotions and special menu items.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Pan Asian cuisine or similar role.
*In-depth knowledge of Pan Asian culinary traditions and techniques.
*Creative flair and passion for creating exceptional dishes.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
*Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
Skills:
*Expertise in preparing a wide range of Pan Asian dishes, such as sushi, dim sum, curries, noodles, etc.
*Proficiency in using traditional Asian cooking equipment and utensils.
*Ability to develop recipes and innovate with new ingredients and techniques.
*Time management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
*Flexibility to adapt menus and dishes to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
