Job Description
Food Preparation and Cooking:
Assist the chef in preparing Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, and regional specialties.
Follow standard recipes to maintain consistent quality and portion sizes.
Ensure timely preparation of ingredients and dishes during service.
Kitchen Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen tools.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Assist in receiving and managing inventory of Indian spices, raw materials, and perishables.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with senior chefs to learn advanced techniques and support them during peak hours.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and delivery of orders.
Actively participate in menu development and provide input on improving dish presentation or taste.
