Job Description
A guest relations executive at Americano is responsible to receive and record guests’ reservations to enable a seamless guest experience. You will be the first point of contact with a guest who would like to dine at Americano or know more about the restaurant and the menu. This is a chance to learn the ins and outs of delivering exceptional hospitality and the elusive art of delivering a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The role will provide the young professional an opportunity to build a career alongside highly skilled professionals and receive one-on-one mentorship from Americano’s co-founders, Mallyeka Watsa and Chef Alex Sanchez. This position includes light administrative duties as well. You will ultimately be responsible for managing all aspects of reservations in accordance with Americano’s standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Receive and record reservations whether in person, via phone, or email.
* Making a note of all special needs and dietary requirements of guests.
* Communicate reservation needs to various departments as necessary.
* Assist servers and other FOH staff with prep for menus and other requirements.
* Reconfirmation of reservations to minimise cancellations.
* Ability to judge turn over of tables for better flow of guests in the dining.
* Maintaining composure under stressful situations.
* Thorough knowledge of the menus.
* Recognising guest to curate a personalised experience.
* Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

* Strong communication skills and and a pleasant personality at all times.
* Well-spoken with a command of the English language.
* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are essential.
* Reliability to work professionally and to be proactive.
* Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience:
* Previous experience is an asset
* Basic computer operating skills
