Our cafe aims to offer an exquisite dining experience with a focus on delightful breakfasts, gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, and an array of delectable bakes. We are excited to open our doors on September 1st and bring a new culinary destination to the community. We are passionate about creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where our guests can enjoy innovative and delicious food. As we grow, we plan to expand our presence throughout the city, bringing our unique culinary experience to various locations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Barista & front house to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and communication skills, a knack for innovative coffee concepts, and the ability to handle guests. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of our cafe’s growth and success from the very beginning. In a few years time we will be happy to offer the candidate a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

•    Develop Innovative Food Concepts: Create and implement new and exciting coffees and shakes  that align with our cafe’s premium brand.

•    Recipe Documentation: Document all recipes accurately for consistency and training purposes.

•    Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

•    POS Software Utilization: Efficiently use point-of-sale (POS) software for order processing, inventory tracking, and sales analysis.

Required Skills

•    Experience with working on coffee and beverages

•    Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment

•    Understanding of food safety practices

•    Excellent time-management skills

•    Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

•    Must be proactive and have strong communication skills
