Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team as a consultant to develop and standardize our menu, and assist with other logistical aspects of starting a new restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and expertise in menu development, kitchen operations, and team management.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and standardize menu offerings, including recipes, portion sizes, and presentation
– Collaborate with the management team to create a cohesive culinary vision and concept
– Assist with kitchen design and equipment selection
– Develop and implement kitchen protocols, procedures, and standards
– Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence
– Source and select high-quality ingredients and suppliers
– Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
– Collaborate with the management team to ensure a smooth restaurant launch
Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
– Proven track record of menu development and kitchen management success
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience with kitchen design and equipment selection a plus
Location:
Our cafe is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, and the candidate should be able to commute to the location on a regular basis.
Compensation:
