Job Description
Food Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare and cook Chinese cuisine, including Chinese starters, noodles, and soups, following authentic recipes.
Ensure proper cutting techniques for vegetables, meats, and seafood, and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in preparing sauces and marinades to be used in various dishes.
Kitchen Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the workstation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management, ensuring adequate supply of Chinese condiments, sauces, and raw ingredients.
Ensure timely preparation of dishes to meet service demands without compromising quality.
Team Collaboration:
Work under the guidance of the head chef to improve skills in Chinese culinary techniques.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to manage orders and ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
Actively participate in brainstorming for menu enhancements and plating presentations.
