Job Description
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in store management and procurement, with specific experience in the vibrant markets of Goa or Maharashtra.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently manage and organize the store’s inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
2. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
3. Source, negotiate, and build relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
4. Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement requirements.
5. Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
6. Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials in the store.
7. Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and maximize efficiency.
8. Supervise and train store staff to maintain a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
10. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and budget adherence.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Store/Procurement Manager, preferably in Goa and Maharashtra.
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
3. Knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.
4. Familiarity with relevant software for inventory tracking and procurement.
5. Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
6. Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
