Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, knowledgeable about specialty and artisanal coffees, and possess a creative flair for crafting unique coffee beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve a variety of specialty and artisanal coffee and espresso-based beverages, following established recipes and standards.
– Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to understand their preferences and make personalized recommendations.
– Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
– Develop and introduce innovative coffee beverages and seasonal specials to enhance the menu.
– Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking coffee supplies and related products.
– Ensure the coffee station is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
– Educate guests about our coffee offerings, including sourcing, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
– Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
– Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Requirements:

– Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
– Proven experience as a barista in a high-end café, restaurant, or hotel.
– Deep knowledge and passion for specialty and artisanal coffees, including different brewing methods and equipment.
– Creativity in crafting unique and innovative coffee beverages.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
