Job Title: Front Office Executive
Job Summary:
As a Front Office Executive, you will be the first point of contact for guests at our hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, provide exceptional customer service, and handle all guest inquiries and requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining the front desk area and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure the overall guest experience is seamless and memorable.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
2. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and maintaining guest privacy and security.
3. Manage reservations and room assignments, taking into account special requests and preferences.
4. Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest’s satisfaction.
5. Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met and the hotel operates smoothly.
6. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.
7. Process payments and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
8. Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.
9. Assist in coordinating and organizing events, conferences, and other guest activities when necessary.
10. Uphold the hotel’s standards for customer service and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
2. Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role within the hospitality industry.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
4. Proficiency in using hotel management software and standard office software.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-pressure situations.
7. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Knowledge of multiple languages is an advantage.
9. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and experience handling cash transactions.
